All other solutions require water to develop in the wrong places. This new tech really improves the customer relationship.

The value is knowing that if there is a problem, our customer will confidently call us knowing what they need and trusting us to fix it.

This product is simple, easy to use, and puts me at ease knowing I won’t have another water overflow event.

The long battery life and low-battery alert means I can be sure that it is actively monitoring. I only have to check it every FIVE YEARS!
FAQ
It senses a property that for water is hundreds of times stronger than that of air to detect the difference. Amazingly, the “standalone” DD03 does not require external power and lasts as long as the supplied battery will last, up to 10 years.
CR123A batteries can last up to 10 years operating in this unit. Check the battery condition (and calibrate the sensor) by opening the battery compartment. When all lights turn off, you are good-to-go for another 5 years. When the light in the battery compartment illuminates, a new battery will be required.
DD03 is effective on drain lines that are 3/4 (Sch40 or SDR) or smaller. It cannot detect water through metal tubing or piping. It is most effective when placed just above the P-Trap or low enough to give advanced warning of a clog.
Although the standalone DD03 will work in the attic, depending on the location it may be difficult to hear the 85dB alarm. If placed near the ventilation duct, it maybe audible through that channel.
A future wire-connected version is planned to with an interface to the air handler and may automatically shut off A/C. In the mean time, we recommend installing a float sensor with this function.
We expect a discrete 1 x 1-1/2 in space. This will accommodate a QR-Code and/or your contact info.
In short, no. We are not able to verify proper battery conditions, installation or whether the occupant responded properly to an alert. This technology enhances the opportunity to react to an event.
We plan to produce future products using this detection method with output for air-handlers and AC control systems.
